.Minister Derrick Womack:

Minister Derrick Womack is an Associate Clergy at the Emmanuel Church of Christ, where he has been a member for sixteen years.

From an early age, Minister Womack felt the hand of the Lord on his life, and at the age of sixteen, he was first filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost.

After going his own way for a while, he realized that he could not get away from the Lord. God, in his infinite mercy and wisdom, kept him, delivered him from drugs and alcohol and brought him through and brought him twenty-one surgeries. The Lord had His divine hand on Minister Womack's life and he re-dedicated his life to the Lord in 1982. After proving himself faithful, the Lord called him into the Ministry and he harkened unto the voice of the Lord, and accepted that call in 1994.

Despite severe obstacles and roadblocks in his life, Minister Womack has learned to trust the faithfulness of the Lord. He testifies that when he was born he had to remain in the hospital for four years straight, due to health problems, but that the Lord brought him out for such a time as this.

His favorite Scripture can be found in Psalm 118:17, 18 “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. The Lord has chastened me sore; but he hath not given me over unto death.”

Prior coming to Emmanuel, he worshipped at The Original Glorious Church of God In Christ Apostolic Faith, Inc. where Bishop Levy Daniels was the Pastor.

In 2001 he had a stroke affecting his vision, and the Lord once again delivered him. Today, he is on fire for the Lord. He not only preaches the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, but also sings the songs of Zion.
